Coachd · Version 2026-10

Terms for coaches

These terms are between you (the coach, or the academy you sign up for) and AS Golf Retail Ltd, trading as Coachd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13262746) whose address is Unit 1 Meadow Lane, Birstall, Leicester LE4 4EU ("Coachd", "we"). By creating a coach account you agree to them.

1. What Coachd does

Coachd turns your lesson recordings or transcripts into lesson notes for your players, gives your players an app with their notes, drills, practice log and an AI assistant that answers in your style, and gives you a dashboard of your diary, players and messages.

2. Your account

  1. You must be 18 or over and a golf professional or coach, or acting for one.
  2. Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  3. One coach per account. Academies need a seat for each coach.

3. Free trial and plans

  1. Your first 3 recorded lessons are free. No card is needed for the trial.
  2. A lesson is one recording or transcript of up to 1 hour 10 minutes. Each further 70 minutes counts as another lesson.
  3. After the trial you choose a plan, paid monthly or yearly. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on our website and in the app before you pay. Prices exclude VAT, which is added where it applies.
  4. Plans renew at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We don't refund part periods. Payments are taken securely by Stripe.
  5. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change.

4. Your responsibilities

  1. Telling players about recording. You must tell your players that lessons are recorded to produce their notes, and have a lawful basis to do so, before you record them.
  2. Checking the notes. Notes are written by AI from your recording. You review every set before it is sent. You are responsible for what you send.
  3. Your AI assistant. The assistant answers your players using your guidance and their notes. It is set up to pass anything about pain, injury, refunds or complaints to you. It is not medical advice, and you remain responsible for your coaching.
  4. Your players' data. You are the controller of your players' personal data. Our Data Processing Agreement forms part of these terms.
  5. Voice. If you create an AI voice, you confirm the voice is your own and you agree to it being used to read your assistant's replies to your players.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Coachd for anything unlawful, don't upload content you don't have the right to, don't share one account between several coaches, and don't try to break, overload or copy the service. We may suspend an account that does.

6. Your content

You own your recordings, notes, guidance, logo and other content. You give us the rights we need to store and process it to run the service for you. We don't sell your data or your players' data, and we don't use it to train AI models.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Coachd available and working, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve and change features; we won't remove a core feature you pay for without telling you first.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business or goodwill.

9. Ending the agreement

  1. You can close your account at any time from the app or by emailing us.
  2. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously break these terms.
  3. When an account closes you have 30 days to export your notes. After that we delete your data and your players' data, except what we must keep by law (for example invoices).

10. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If we change these terms we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
